In April 2010, Jiangsu Xingwen Packaging Co., Ltd. was established in response to the call of the Jureng Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to develop and strengthen the development zone. The registered capital was 50 million yuan (later increased by 148 million yuan). Land was requisitioned and expanded, and technological transformation and upgrading were carried out. The first-phase project (150 mu) started construction at the end of 2012, with an investment of 150 million yuan. It went into production in March 2014. The project introduced more than 40 sets of advanced production equipment, including a 2.8-meter production line from Italy's Fosber Company, a fully automatic glue making system, a fully automatic logistics system, a fully automatic binding machine, and a fully automatic printing, slotting, and die-cutting integrated machine.
