On the morning of April 28, 2016, just before the May Day Labor Day, the Jiangsu Province "Model Workers and Advanced Workers" commendation conference was grandly held at the Provincial Conference Center in Nanjing. The conference was presided over by Shi Taifeng, deputy secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and governor, and Luo Zhijun, secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, delivered an important speech. Nearly 600 people attended the meeting, including model workers, advanced workers, heroic model representatives from the whole province, and representatives of national May Day Labor Medal winners, celebrating May Day Labor Day.
